Psychological Horror Film “BLIND” Announces Award Wins and Future Screenings

I told you Marcel Walz’s new film, BLIND, was going to be huge. And so far, it’s proving me right! Having recently started its film festival run, BLIND has already picked up several award wins including Best Thriller (Undo Divergent Film Awards), Best Horror Film (Canadian Cinematography Awards, Anaheim Film Festival), Best Actress (Best Actor Awards, Independent Horror Movie Awards) and Best Twist (Independent Horror Movie Awards).

In the coming weeks, more awards will surely be announced as BLIND is slated to play at Twin Cities Film Festival, Festival of Fear and Hex After Dark Film Festival.

Written by Joe Knetter, BLIND follows Faye (Sarah French), a former actress that lost her vision due to botched laser eye surgery as she struggles to put her life back together while living alone in her dream house in the Hollywood Hills. Supported by her friend Sophia, she starts opening up to Luke, a personal trainer who is mute and can only communicate through his cell phone. Faye will soon realize that she isn’t as alone as she thinks.

BLIND also stars Caroline Williams, Jed Rowen, Tyler Gallant, Thomas Haley, Ben Kaplan, Michael St. Michael and Jessica Galetti.
