(Short Film) Alex Magana’s The Smiling Woman

Here’s a short film from writer/director Alex Magana and 1st AD Jonathan Romero.

You’ve seen many prank scenarios using this story-line, but now you get to see it as a narrative film. What happens one night when a young student is waiting for a train, alone and seemingly followed by a woman in a yellow dress. Is she lost, playing around, or something worse?

Ariel Fullinwider and Merlynda Sol star in The Smiling Woman, a three minute movie made for the Artlist Horror Film Contest.

What I like about The Smiling Woman is that it’s a silent film of sorts in a modern era. Very cool idea.

Watch it below!
