Dead Media follows the tale of a troubled young woman named Maggie who tries to enjoy movie night with her two best friends. After countless minutes of scrolling through titles, they try to stream a long lost ’90s horror cult-classic, The Lurcher. Before they get far, Maggie’s lonely super-fan uncle drops by with a DVD for the gang to experience the film in all of it’s bloody, load bonus content glory. Once they dig into the analog feature, they find out the disc is haunted as the horrors of the film start to materialize in their own living room. Dead Media is an exciting homage to great horror, cult classics, and the bygone era of DVD bonus features.
