New York, January 6th, 2015 – Kelly Padrick’s new music video for the single entitled Radiance will be launched worldwide the week of January 12th, 2015. In the meantime, the sultry New York singer-songwriter is releasing an exclusive 7-minute behind-the-scenes featurette that can be found on YouTube and Vimeo.

Radiance is Kelly Padrick’s 8th video collaboration with award-winning Canadian director/producer Patricia Chica (Rockabilly 514, Ceramic Tango and Serpent’s Lullaby).

“Radiance was written to be a positive song about love and I felt the concept of the video should mirror the hopeful and spiritual themes of the song”, says Kelly Padrick.

“This is Kelly Padrick’s most luminous music video to date”, adds Patricia Chica. “Moreover, this is a tale about ‘enlightenment’ and ‘brilliance’ rather than ‘darkness’, which had been a recurrent theme in our previous videos.”

With the textured cinematography signed by Martin Bouchard, Radiance is set at a manor located in the enchanting Laurentian Mountains of Quebec, Canada. The music video shows an elegant woman played by Padrick who is worshiped by her radiant lover, played by Quebecois actor Eric Benton. Radiance is a love song that presents a message of hope for the listener to believe their radiance is in the way they are.

@KellyPadrick has released five full length CDs; Haze, Carmine Street, Hello My Love, Soulmate and Dear Love, as well as three EPs; The Brooklyn Hours, The Kind of Girl and her most recent EP Radiance. “Pizza and Fairytales”, a haunting love song, was featured in the Fox Searchlight movie Trust the Man. “Ties That Bind” and “The Brooklyn Hours” were both used prominently in ABC’s Desperate Housewives promos during the 2010 season. In 2013, MTV used “Girl On” *for their new show Big Tips Texas. Kelly’s music can be found on iTunes, Amazon, iHeartRadio, Spotify and Pandora.

@PatriciaChica has directed, produced and edited all of Kelly’s videos since 2006 as well as over 50 hours of programming including award-winning shorts, music videos and edgy documentaries. She is known for her sensitive approach to character and the way she uses energy within her creative process in order to achieve a compelling, sensual and empowered performance from the artists she collaborates with.

The Behind-the-Scenes video was directed, shot and edited by Natasha Pereiro.
