- 2005 – Pat Morita, most well know for playing “Mr. Miyagi” in the “Karate Kid” film series and “Arnold” on “Happy Days,” passed away at the age of 73. He appeared in the films “When Time Ran Out,” “Full Moon High” and “King Cobra.”
- 2002 – Noel Regney who composed the music scores for the films “The Flesh Eaters” and “Gremlins,” passed away at the age of 80. He also wrote the Christmas classic “Do You Hear What I Hear” in 1962.
- 1990 – Writer Robb White, who wrote such screen plays as “13 Ghosts,” “House on Haunted Hill” and “The Tingler” for William Castle, passed away at the age of 81.
- 1977 – Richard Carlson, who starred in the films “It Came From Outer Space,” “The Creature From the Black Lagoon” and “The Valley of Gwangi,” passed away at the age of 65.
