Nothing new in the horror Box Office this week. Each of the three movies in theatres seems to be doing the slow, but inevitable, crawl dawn the line.
- 8 5 The Roommate – $5,284,000 (Total: $33,877,000)
- 15 13 Black Swan – $2,039,000 (Total: $102,248,000)
- 16 12 The Rite – $1,568,000 (Total: $31,831,000)
On the DVD Top 30 Chart, Paranormal Activity 2 debuts big and My Soul To Take…well…doesn’t. The Chain Letter just…dove right off the chart, didn’t it? Saw 3D really took a nose dive too. I’m surprised to see Hatchet II not debut at all. Maybe next week. Also, it looks like this is the last week we’ll see Resident Evil: Afterlife on the chart.
- 3 – Paranormal Activity 2 $6,299,000
- 12 – My Soul To Take $1,409,000
- 14 4 Let Me In $986,000 (Total: $3,924,000)
- 23 10 Saw 3D: The Final Chapter $834,000 (Total: $5,879,000)
- 29 25 Resident Evil: Afterlife $470,000 (Total: $16,895,000)
I’m very surprised that Face Off is still getting almost a million and a half viewers. SyFy shows tend to peak the first week and then free fall. Anyone on HS still watching?
- Vampire Diaries – 2,940,000
- Supernatural – 2,250,000
- Ghost Hunters – 1,745,000
- Being Human – 1,390,000
- Face Off – 1,320,000
If anyone wants $$$ for a film, comment and let me know.
