I know what you’re thinking… Another Paranormal Activity spoof? Well, this one appears to be very well made and not a calamity, and it seems to be aimed at an older audience. While Scary Movie 5 still aimed its target audience at middle schoolers and drunk college guys, it looks like Paranormal Whacktivity is aiming to strike interest in the over 20s demographic. The movie appears to have more sarcastic, witty, and dry humor; and it looks to be a lot sexier than any other Paranormal Activity spoofs so far.
Paranormal Whacktivity is a, “sexy and hilarious spoof about a couple who have just moved into a new home to consummate their relationship, but find peril around every corner due to an evil presence that haunts them whenever they attempt to be intimate.”
The feature is written by Chris Pentzell and Geoffrey Plitt with director Roger Roth. Cast members include Aneliese Roettger, Melinda Y. Cohen (Chillerama), Stephanie Danielson (Muck), Jenna Bryant, Brie Doffing, Brianna Nicole, William Patrick Riley, Sasha Formoso, and many more. Chanel Ryan also appears in this title as the “Bride of Dracula.” Ms. Ryan had a supporting role as Ms. Gleason in the Redbox hit Bad Kids Go To Hell. She was hilarious in that feature, so let’s hope she has more one liners in this title too!
