2nd Annual KILLINGTON FILM FESTIVAL (KFF), an emerging event celebrating high-quality, artistic, and entertaining films at one of the nation’s largest ski resorts, located in beautiful Killington, Vermont.

Devoted to honoring and promoting the fearless creators of independent films, KFF places no restrictions on its film program and showcases pics in any genre on any subject matter. Nestled in the Green Mountains, KFF’s setting couldn’t be more picturesque and creatively invigorating. Filmmakers are invited to take advantage of all the region has to offer, including spring skiing, nightlife, outdoor sports, nature, and the opportunities presented at KFF.

KFF 2009 filmmakers have already made waves in the industry: Todd Davis (IN THE TRADITION OF MY FAMILY) was named a “Filmmaker to Watch” by the Boston Examiner and went on to a long circuit run, bringing home 10 festival wins; Sam Kauffmann was recently selected as a Guggenheim Fellow and his KFF selection, LIVING WITH SLIM, is now utilized by organizations worldwide to combat the AIDS pandemic; and David Giancola went on went on to further success on the circuit with ILLEGAL ALIENS. Last year, KFF awarded prizes in various categories, including an AVID editing system worth over $1,600 USD to the Best of Festival winner.

MISSION AND OBJECTIVE
The Killington Film Festival’s mission is to celebrate film and its creators without restrictions on subject, genre, and medium. KFF strives to enrich the community through film and video, presenting creative works from all over the world.

MORE ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Venues are sprinkled throughout Killington, and range from large vaulted-ceiling base lodges on the side of a mountain to more intimate venues where some of the world’s most famous entertainers have performed. A quaint resort town set against Vermont’s famous Green Mountains, Killington attracts vacationers and world-renowned artists seeking inspiration and relaxation.

Exhibiting filmmakers receive all-access KFF passes, complimentary or discounted meals and lodging, and discounted or free passes to the various adventures Killington has to offer. Filmmakers mingle with industry professionals and film fans at the Festival’s networking events, after-parties, and screenings where feature directors participate in engaging Q&A sessions with their audience.
