Killer Weed

KillerWeed is a black comedy / new age zombie film in the tradition of 28 Days Later, but with a Slackers edge. KillerWeed’s subtext comments on the behavior and desires of modern British youth, presenting a layered story in an intelligent and commercial way.

KillerWeed deals with coming of age character journeys, with the message that everyone needs to both stand up and take responsibility for their actions, and have the desire to achieve something in life. It explores the effect stereotypes have on youth culture through two conflicting groups: the trendies vs. the chavs. There is animosity between the groups at the beginning, which is replaced by a need to survive.
