We’re a small indie movie production company in the NYC area. Our first feature film (Evil Things) is currently finding distribution around the world. We recently screened at Frightfest in London and the European Film Market in Berlin. Suddenly we’re being overwhelmed with new opportunities. Hundreds of scripts are coming in to us as we develop our own projects in-house.
We’re looking for interns who can give us a few hours of their week to work on the following:
Pre-production
Casting
Reading/evaluating/developing scripts
Location scouting
Production assistance on set
Cinematography
Video editing
Marketing
Set decoration
Distribution
Film Festival attendance
Note: This is a non-paying job, but there will be opportunities to make money as we take on various shooting/editing jobs for outside clients. Also, this business is all about making connections, and this kind of assignment will enable you to meet so many people in our industry.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Looking for people with good instincts who want to learn.
Also, you must live in the NYC tri-state area.
