CHICAGO! Horror Society is Hosting a Free Screening of Demon Summer Tomorrow

Come to Carbon Arc at 8:30pm for a Free Screening and a Party

One of my favorite filmmaking forces working in the indie scene is the duo of the Campbell Brothers. With films like Midnight Skater and The Red Skulls, they’ve been able to pack so much energy into mirco-budgeted horror flicks over the years. Demon Summer is one of their best works to date.

Demon Summer’s synopsis is as follows: 20 years ago the small town of Louisville, Ohio was stunned by the gruesome death of a local teenage girl. The case was shrouded in mystery and never resolved. The only man who knows the terrible secret of what happened that night wanders the streets in silence. When a group of meddling high school kids get too curious about the mystery, they inadvertently resurrect the evil. Now, no one is safe and only one thing is for sure- the town of Louisville will never be the same.

Take a Look at the trailer here:

The film will be screening for free tomorrow at Carbon Arc Bar located at 4614 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60625 at 8:30pm. Following the film will be a trailer reel, free giveaways, and a discussion of the film. It will be a jam packed, fun, free evening. Don’t miss your chance to see this crazy cool indie with a crowd.
